We produced an end-to-end campaign—from live-action production to creative technology—challenging a professional driver to drift a real car at speed while navigating a course entirely in virtual reality.

Our mandate was to shatter the barrier between physical performance and virtual immersion. This required engineering a system to track a 4,000-pound vehicle with centimeter-level precision.


By applying custom texture passes, we created a tactile sense of movement that mirrors the physical intensity of the sport.

As a full-service creative technology partner, we fused live production with a custom real-time pipeline. We integrated Swiftnav RTK GPS for ultra-accurate positioning and tapped the car’s CANBUS system for 1 million Hz input.


By using a 9DOF IMU to sync the VR headset to the vehicle's movement, we maintained absolute spatial orientation—allowing the driver to trust the digital world while sliding a physical machine.

Every steering input, throttle blip, and gear shift was captured and mirrored in a 1:1 driving experience rendered entirely in Unreal Engine.

This synchronization ensured that the "felt" g-forces matched the "seen" environment, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the intersection of automotive performance and immersive media.


The result was a world-first technical feat that proved digital craft could withstand the extreme conditions of professional drifting.

The campaign stands as a benchmark for high-fidelity creative tech, setting a new standard for how brands can use simulation to tell high-performance stories.
