A main title sequence that captures the cultural weight and street-level authenticity for the six-part FX documentary Hip Hop Uncovered.
This six-part documentary series reveals the complex, untold story of hip hop's power brokers and its 40-year history. Our challenge was to craft a main title sequence that captured the cultural weight and street-level authenticity of the narrative.

The final sequence served as a powerful, unflinching visual thesis, immediately immersing the audience in the documentary’s world. The visceral design successfully established the authoritative tone of the series. It set a cinematic standard for the story of hip hop’s evolution from an expression of survival to a globally dominant cultural force.
