The Formation World Tour fused sound, light, and monumental design into a synchronized storm. Working alongside stage designer Es Devlin, we transformed a massive rotating monolith into a reactive, living sculpture—one that pulsed, burned, and moved in tandem with Beyoncé herself.
Every millisecond of the show was engineered to be an "Instagram moment." Whether viewed from the front row, the upper tiers, or a passing airplane, the monolith projected energy at every angle. It served as active architecture—rotating, splitting apart, and erupting in digital flame through projected imagery of Beyoncé’s eyes.

This marked the second major collaboration between Es Devlin, Ben Conrad, and Pierre Nobile, following the Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour. To execute this vision, a 25-person mobile studio traveled with the production, managing a complex 6K pipeline. We crafted 175 minutes of synchronized visuals, fusing live action, animation, VFX, and choreography into a singular cinematic language.

"When the tour premiered in Miami, sound, light, and movement converged in perfect unity, redefining what a live visual experience could be."
